Kim Jackson's Obituary
Kim Jackson, beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2025, at the age of 66. Born on September 19, 1958, in Gary, Indiana, Kim was the fifth of eight children born to Johanna Spencer and Ezell Jackson, Sr.
At a young age, Kim moved with his family to Tacoma, Washington, where he spent the majority of his life. Known for his warm heart and radiant smile, Kim worked as a cook and found joy in sharing meals and laughter with those he loved.
Kim was the proud father of two handsome sons, Coshawn and Dajuan, Sr., and a devoted grandfather to six beautiful grandchildren: Tiara, Dejon, Dajuan, Jr., Davontae, Dayton, and Dolce. His love for his family was unwavering, and he cherished every moment spent with them.
He is survived by his siblings: Rose Bennett, Elayne Thomas, Sharon (Frank) Cox, Karla Bailey, Denise Seawood, and Ezell Jackson, Jr., as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends. Kim was preceded in eternal rest by his parents, Johanna Spencer and Ezell Jackson, Sr., and his eldest brother, Jerry Spencer.
Kim’s legacy is one of love, laughter, and light. He will be remembered for his generous spirit, a smile that could light up the whole world, and the deep love he had for his family.
