Kevin Hibbert's Obituary
Richard “Kevin” Hibbert, age 46, unexpectedly passed on March 14, 2021, at St. Anthony Hospital in Gig Harbor during a routine surgical procedure. He joined his father, Robert Richard Hibbert, who had passed away exactly fifteen years prior on March 14, 2006. Kevin had deep spiritual faith in a life beyond this one and although he didn’t attend church regularly he was a born-again Christian. He graduated from high school in Tacoma and his last employment was with Codel Doors as a door finisher/inventory handler.
Kevin was an unusually supportive friend to many, who are now grieving his loss and will deeply miss him. He would go to help a friend or a relative at a moment’s notice and always had a listening ear and sound advice. He often said he could help solve others’ problems so much easier than his own.
Kevin is survived by his mother, Freda Greene age 77 of Tacoma; sister Ginger Imel age 57 of Graham; brother William Kiser age 33 of Seattle; nephew Christopher Greene age 32 of Graham; nephew Jacob Imel age 27 of Moses Lake; aunt Judith Youngman age 74 of Owatonna, MN; cousin Ryan Youngman age 51 of Vancouver, WA; cousin Erin Youngman age 45 of Media, PA; cousin James Youngman of Media, PA; and cousin Rose Imel age 3 of Moses Lake.
