Kevin had a smile that could light up a room and I loved to hear him laugh. He was a gentleman in every sense of the word. I had the privilege of working and traveling with him on numerous occasions. When he would see me, he would always say, "Hey Mrs. Jones" and smile or chuckle. And, he was always so thoughtful. Many times our team would be on the road on Mothers Day and Kevin took it upon himself to deliver a rose to all the Moms that were away from their families. My heart aches that he is no longer with us in body, but always with us in spirit. Prayers for Gods comfort to his family.

Kevin was a great all around guy. I had the distinct honor of having him as part of my crew. He was a superb worker and a good friend. He would basically take on any task assigned and give it his best. I have worked with him under all kinds of circumstances in garrison and in the field. He always gave it his best and if he made a mistake he owned up to it. He was a very honorable man.
He was also fun talk to and socialize with at functions or when we crossed paths in Steilacoom or wherever we happened to meet. I enjoyed talking about our common interests in Montana, the hunting, fishing and work on the ranches. And, we are both stockholders in WSU so had much common ground there as well. We were former fellow soldiers in the army, the in the 9th Infantry Division in particular we served at similar times. We had much in common professionally and philosophically. Kevin and the folks like him are the reason I kept working longer than one might expect. He was great to work with and just fun to be around. He will be greatly missed.
