Kerry Boyd, 63, of Tacoma, WA, passed away on October 29, 2023. He was born on July 7, 1960, in Pittsburgh, Kansas to his parents Thomas Boyd Sr. And Florence Boyd. Kerry was a loving and protective individual who was known for his sense of humor and his many talents. Kerry had a passion for landscaping and creating beautiful outdoor spaces for his loved ones. He had a gift for working with his hands and was skilled in various trades. He could build add-on additions to homes, create ponds, and bring any creative vision to life. His creativity and craftsmanship were admired by all who knew him. In addition to his love for landscaping, Kerry also enjoyed music, playing games, and spending time with friends and family. He had a sharp wit and would often be the life of the party with his jokes and smart mouth, all in good fun and love. Kerry was a tough and resilient individual, always demanding respect and ensuring that it was given. Kerry had a successful career that spanned across various jobs and included serving in the military for several years. He furthered his education and earned an Associate's degree after graduating from MT. Tahoma High School. Kerry's dedication and hard work were evident in his professional endeavors. Kerry will be deeply missed by his children, Lamar, Renita, Brandon, and Addie, his 15 grandchildren, his mother Florence Boyd, his brothers, Thomas and Derrick Boyd, and a host of other cousins and extended family members. Kerry was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Boyd Sr., and his sister, Latanya Boyd.
