Kenneth Elwood Spingola's Obituary
Kenneth Elwood Spingola, Age 85 of Lakewood, Washington passed away peacefully on September 13, 2015.
Born July 25,1930 to James and Irene Spingola in Canonsberg, Pennsylvania. Ken is survived by his sons Mike (Billie), Mark (Chris); daughter Maryann (Mark); sister Sammie and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Ken joined the Army in 1948 serving during the Korean War were he was captured in December 1950 and held as a POW for three years. Finally, returning to the love of his life Patricia Walden to raise a family. Ken worked several years as a partner of McKasson Brothers Construction, and then owning our family business, Lakewood Lawn Equipment for 25 years. After Pat’s passing Ken retired to Arizona to play gin, golf, and fish with his many friends. Ken always had a twinkle in his eye and a zest for living. Ken was known for doing things his own way and many will have memories of his mischief.
