Kenneth Rohar's Obituary
Kenneth L. Rohar, 77, passed away on May 11, 2013 in Tacoma, WA. He was born on May 1, 1936 to Emmett A. and Laura A. (Sida) Rohar in Lawrence, Kansas and raised in San Pedro, CA.
Kenny worked for many years as a Longshoreman Local #23 I.L.W.U. He will be remembered by his family and friends as “a champion for the underdog”, his caring ways and his outgoing nature.
He is survived by his wife Connie; son Darrel (Launa) Rohar; daughters Laura, Linda and Kristina (Dragan) Butorac; granddaughters Catherine (Dick), Sabrina, Ceciley and Denise; grandsons Evan, Alexander, Brandon and Savek; great-granddaughters Zoe, Jocelyn and great-grandson Charlie. Kenny was preceded in death by daughter Diane; daughter-in-law Terrie; brother Roy; granddaughter Cecelia and his parents.
Memorial services will be held at 11:30 AM on Monday, May 20, 2013 at the Old Town Music Society, 2101 North 30th Street, Tacoma, WA; 253-572-9205.
