Kenneth L. Brown's Obituary
Kenneth L. Brown passed peacefully in his home on Feb. 9th, 2011. He was born in Murphysboro, IL to Bernice and Wilferd Brown on Sept. 24th, 1939. Ken graduated high school in Chateraux, France, where his father served in the USAF. He then entered S.I.U for two years before deciding on a career in the USAF himself. He received his navigator wings at Harlingen, TX before entering pilot training. He served his country in Thailand and ended his 20-year career as a Lt. Col in 1984 at Beale AFB, where he flew chase planes for the SR71. He was pre-deceased by his brother, a Navy pilot, in 1967 and his mother in 1995. He leaves behind his father and three sisters.
