Kenneth Jacob Walth's Obituary
Kenneth Jacob Walth 72, affectionately known as -Å"Ken & Kenny-, was the eldest child and only son of Bennie and Rose Walth, born on February 25, 1940 in Hebron, North Dakota and passed away April 24, 2012. Ken graduated from Lincoln High School, Tacoma, WA, in 1958. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and was a 1974 graduate from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA.
His life's career was dedicated to outside sales, with the final 20 years culminating in the Steel Fabrication business, where he was consummate network professional.
Ken is survived by his wife of 47 years, Deanna; his son Douglas (and granddaughter Jacqui Burchett and grandson Vitor Nogueira); and daughter Kristin (Simeon); his mother Rose Walth and two sisters Janice Jones (David); nephews Kenneth Carle (Sandy) and George White; sister Kathleen Walth; his brother-in-law Richard Leir (Eileen), niece (Cori) and nephew (Collin).
He was preceded in death by his father Bennie and nephew Christopher Carle.
Ken was a very social individual with a zest for life. Besides family, Ken's joys in life were travelling via auto throughout the U.S. and photography. He was an active member of the YMCA, Eagles and Elks Clubs as well as the Tacoma Prostate Cancer Support Group (TPCSG).
