Kenneth G Hall's Obituary
Kenneth G. Hall passed away on July 7, 2015 in Tacoma, Washington at the age of 100. He was born on August 6, 1914 in Spokane, Washington and was the only child of Lillian and William Hall. Ken graduated from Walla Walla High School in 1932 and Eastern Washington College in 1936. He taught at Republic and Toppinish High Schools and moved to Tacoma with his wife Caroline after their marriage in Walla Walla on August 6, 1941.
Kenneth is survived by his son Mike (Kristine) Hall of Gig Harbor, grandchildren Nicole (Kyle), Jared, Tom, Dale (Anna), Dana, Karissa, great grandchildren Jane, Kate, Dillon, Reid and Kai, and many deeply loved nieces and nephews.
Ken was preceded in death by Caroline his wife of 72 years, and beloved son Larry Allen Hall.
Dad founded Lidstrom-Hall hardware Company with brother-in law Les in 1947 and served the Tacoma and Fircrest communities for 32 years. He was active in service organizations and a long time Elks club member. Upon retirement Ken and Caroline spent many happy years traveling, golfing, dancing, playing cards with friends, and celebrating family events and visits.
Graveside services will be held at Mt. View Cemetery Wednesday July 15 2015 at 11:30 am, followed by a reception on site at Mt. View.
