Kenneth H. Pollock's Obituary
Kenneth H. Pollock Ken Pollock passed away at home on July 30, 2004 in University Place, WA. He was born June 9, 1918 in Blanchard, Iowa. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the European Theater. Ken met and married his wife Jennie in 1944 and moved to Tacoma where they settled and raised their family. Ken retired in 1980 after 35 years with West Coast Grocery Company. He was a member of the Tacoma Elks. Ken was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Hazel Pollock and his sister Pearl McGinness. His sister Margaret Walker and brother John Pollock survive him. He leaves behind his wife of 60 years Jennie, children Marla Schreck (Richard), Randy (Elizabeth), Scott (Tobi), and Michelle Richardson (Robert); grandchildren Amy, Jerrod, Matthew, Sean, Sara, Meagan, Anna, Brian, and great-grandsons Ian and Sam. A memorial service for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, August 4, 2004 at 2:00PM in the Mt. View Garden Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Franciscan Hospice in his memory. Bye Bimps
