Ken passed from this life to a far greater fishing ground where the big ones never getaway! Sorry Ken, catch and release only!Born in Lovell, Wyoming May 17th, 1921 to William Cornell and Signa Sandstrom Cornell.Ken served in the Pacific Theatre during World War II in the Navy and Marines.Following the war he worked for his father and later owned Cornell Plumbing and Heating.Ken was a great fisherman, sport and commercial at Ilwaco Washington. Hunting was another passion in Alaska, Canada, and Washington.He was a Mason and Shrine clown. He was also a lifetime member of Tacoma Elks.He was quick with his wit and a loving generous man as friends and relatives can attest.Preceding him in death was his mother, father, brother, one son Larry, wife Vee of 49 years, and two brothers in law.Surviving him his son Dr. John Cornell, two sisters in law, two granddaughters Cameron, Jennifer, many nieces, nephews, and too many close friends to list, and one faithful dog Sarah.As requested by Ken no graveside services. There will be a celebration of life get together in Lakewood after interment, call 588-4044
