Kenneth D. MurphyKenneth D. Murphy, 71, died July 14, 2004 in Wenden, AZ. He was born Nov. 11, 1932, and raised in Neodesha, KS. He was in the Navy from Feb. 1952 to Oct. 1954. He retired in 1990 from his job as a tool repairman at Heath Tecna in Kent. After retiring he moved to Arizona in 1992, where he was active with the Volunteers in Protection with the La Paz County SheriffÂ's Dept. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, traveling, and shopping. Preceded in death by parents, Leo and Viola Murphy; brothers, Larry and Darrell Murphy. Survivors include wife, Ramona; daughters, Kathie Karels, of Spanaway, WA, and Brenda Scriver of Lakebay, WA; son, Robert of Steilacoom, WA; 4 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and many extended relatives and friends in Kansas, Arizona, and Washington. Kenny will be missed by many who loved him so much. Visitation will be 11am-9pm, Tuesday, July 27, at Mt. View Funeral Home. Services will be held 12:30pm, Wednesday, July 28, 2004 at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent.
