Kenneth Arthur Oas' Obituary
KENNETH A. OASKenneth was born in Olalla, Aug. 7, 1912 and went to be with his Savior, Nov. 11, 2003. His early schooling was in Kitsap County, and graduated from Stadium High School. He worked as the electrical foreman for Boise Cascade for twenty nine years. Upon retirement he returned to Olalla to again enjoy the beauty of Puget Sound, to build houses, and work his acreage. His last two years were spent in Gig Harbor.He was a dedicated servant to his Lord, to his family, his community, and church where he served on various boards. He was known for his gentleness, loyalty, and giving of himself.He will be greatly missed by his wife, Harriet, sons, John Oas (Kathleen), Keith Johnston (Leslie), Rich Johnston (Diane), daughter, Louise Hansen, 5 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.Services will be held at Life Center, 1717 So. Union, Tacoma, WA, Nov. 19, 2:PM. Remembrances may be made to the Chaplaincy International, c/o John Oas, through Life Center Mission Fund, or P.O. Box 68782, Seattle, WA 98168
