Wright, Kendra's Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Kendra Wright, who left this world far too soon at the age of 36. Born on November 11, 1988, Kendra was a bright, bold, and beautiful spirit who brought love, laughter, and energy into every room she entered.
Kendra was the proud and devoted mother of two children who were her greatest joy—her son David (19) and her daughter Lakendra (8). She poured her heart into motherhood and was always there with open arms, a listening ear, and unconditional love. She was also a cherished sister, a loving aunt to her nieces and nephew, and a loyal friend to many. Family meant everything to her, and she lived each day with her loved ones at the center of her world.
Kendra had a deep love for music—it was her therapy, her celebration, her escape, and her joy. Whether she was dancing, singing along to her favorite songs, or just vibing with those she loved, music was always playing in the background of her life.
She was the life of the party—known for her quick wit, big laugh, love of a good time, a shot with friends, and a cigarette in hand. But more than anything, she loved being surrounded by the people she cared about most. Her presence was magnetic, her loyalty fierce, and her love real.
Kendra now joins her beloved mother, Debra Wright, her uncle Michael Wright, and many other dearly missed family and friends in heaven. Though her time with us was short, her impact was deep, and her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Rest in peace, Kendra. Your spirit, your smile, and your song will echo in our hearts forever.
