Keith Stubblefield
Keith Stubblefield was born September 29, 1943 in Leslie, Missouri Russell and Donna Stubblefield. He graduated from Washington High School in Washington, Missouri in 1963. He worked a short period of time for McDonald Douglas before serving in Korea in the US Army. He joined the Puyallup Police in 1967 and served the Puyallup Community for 30 years before retiring. During his time on the department, he graduated from Green River Community College with his degree in Law Enforcement.
He Married his wife Joan in March of 1977 and resided in Puyallup until his passing on October 16, 2013.
While on the police department “Stubby”, as he was affectionately nicknamed, was known for adopting or bringing home any stray animal that wandered his way.
After retiring from the department Keith served at the Puyallup Fraternal Order of the Eagles as a chair officer and resides as a member of the Past Presidents Club.
Keith is survived by his wife Joan, his daughter Michele (Dan), his son Erik (Kristi) and his three grandchildren, Devin, Alex and Emily.
In Lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Pierce County Humane Society.
There will be a Celebration of Life at the Daffodil Eagles in Puyallup, on Monday, October 21 at noon.
