Dad,
Man. I know it's been a long time but I needed to deal with this loss on my own before posting anything about it. Not a day goes by that I don't think about you and miss you. I am so grateful that I got a chance to tell you everything I ever wanted to. I have three kids now, so that makes you a grandpa three times over. Which means you're old. Haha. I strive, everyday, to be the kind of Dad you were to me. By no means was it always easy or peaceful, but I never doubted your love for me. You were always there to talk, play, instruct, offer guidance and give your unconditional love. You meant the world to me and I try to keep in mind to be the kind of man and dad that you'd be proud of. You taught me so much about life and respect. I pass those things into my kids too, Dad. I love you. I miss you so damn much. I truly hope that you've found your peace and that you're with Dora and Taco, just fishing and having a good time. No stress.
