Keante Jalyn Israel Rushmer lived for the people he loved, and every moment with him felt like a warm song shared among family.
Born in Seattle on September 1st, 1996, Keante grew up with an easy affection for those around him. From his earliest days he focused on keeping family close and spirits high, a wish that guided his life.
Kind, supportive, generous, and compassionate, Keante found calm in meditation and joy in music. Whether quietly reflecting or turning up a favorite track, he let simple, steady habits bring peace to each day.
Family remained at his center. He shared brotherly laughs with Jontae White and Dre White, and he glowed with pride as a father to Durae Israel and Ezmiore Israel Torres. He called himself a family man, and all who knew him felt that truth in his every word.
Keante passed away at home on May 25th, 2026. Though his physical presence is gone, his wish for happiness still echoes in our daily lives. We will carry his gentle melody forward, loving him always and keeping his memory close.
