Kathryn Ann Gray's Obituary
Kathryn, also known as "Kit" was born to August and Marie Fisher in Stewartsville, Missouri. After 84 years of living a healthy and full life, she will be joining her beloved husband, Forrest "Gray", and siblings A.B. and Lazelle. she will be fondly remembered by her brothers, Alfred (Kathleen), Charles, and Jerry (Mary); sisters Doris Kim, Ann Hardt, and Marcella Sample; children Gordon Sr (Genevieve), Judy ("Granddog" Snickers), and Patrick (Sharon); grandchildren Gordon Jr. (Darleen), Jeannette Waite (George), Brodie (Rachel Garner), Brittany (fiance Chris Mitchell); "grayt" grandchildren Hannah Gray, James-Peter, Maddison Katheryn & Parker-John Forrest Waite; dear cousins Elaine Murphey and the White family.Gram was known for her love of life, family and friends, her compassion, sense of humor, generosity, energy, famous cooking and passion for fun. She was always "on the go", had a zest for games, (especially Canasta) and was an avid Mariners fan. Going to Leavenworth and seeing Christmas lights was a special treat for her. She loved traveling while "Gray" was in the military. Her computer brought her great joy adn kept her in touch with so many. Her screen name, "Graytgram", truly exemplefied what a GREAT Gram she really was. She prided herself on her independence and good health. In her earlier years she taught kindergarten but later used her artistic talents to graduate with honors from Pierce College. She enjoyed AARP adn the Senior's Club with many of her close friends including Lee Halverson and Colleen Smith. The clever jokes, the twinkle in her eyes and her contagious smile will be "Graytly" missed but always cherished.Viewing will be held from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM on Thursday, March 17 at Mt. View Funeral Home.Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 18, 2005 at the Mountain View Garden Chapel. Following graveside, a gathering of friends and family will be at Little Church on the Prairie (253-588-6631).
