Katherine Suiter's Obituary
Katherine Ruth Suiter passed away on April 16th, 2014. She was 93 years young. Born on June 27th, 1920 at her family farm in Kansas, Katherine, more commonly known as Kay, spent most of her life in Orange County, California. After marrying her college sweetheart, Jack Suiter, in 1942, the two raised daughter, Linda, and son, James, in Oxnard, California. Kay was a teacher for 31 years, but continuously taught others in many aspects of life, especially her granddaughter, Ashley. After moving to Washington State in 2002, Kay spent most of her time visiting family, cheering on her USC Trojan football team as a passionate alumni, playing and leading multiple bridge groups weekly and was a beyond active reader. Kay displayed a youthful demeanor even in to her nineties, inspiring her family to live life with a similar attitude. A kind and caring soul, Kay leaves behind her son, daughter and granddaughter.
