Katherine Strep's Obituary
Our dear mother, Katherine Strep, passed away on August 22, 2023, at the age of 88. She was very loved and will be missed terribly. She had many friends and lived a long and full life. Kathie was preceded in death by her parents Francis and Mary Boggs, and her husband Richard Strep. She is survived by her daughter Maryane Cope, her son William Davie (Diane), her stepson Kurt Strep (Donna), stepdaughter Kelly Larue (Tim), grandchildren Thomas and Andrew Cope, Alyce and James Davie, Nicole Newman (Tanner) and Drew Strep, and Samantha and Parker (Kayla) Larue. She was also blessed with 3 adorable great-grandchildren.
Kathie was born in Bellingham, WA, and grew up in Poulsbo where she attended North Kitsap High School. She later graduated from the Tacoma General Hospital School of Nursing in 1956, and she worked as a Registered Nurse at TG for more than 30 years.
She stayed close with her North Kitsap classmates, and she was very involved in the School of Nursing Alumni Association.
We are honoring her request that no services be held. We ask that people donate to their favorite charity in her memory.
