Kathy,
You will always be Kathy to me.
We explored the world together with young, inexperienced eyes.
Our journey together started with the awkwardness of adolescence and went through adult hood.
We learned the highs and the lows of love. We knew happiness and we knew pain.
But, it is the happiness of our carefree youth, the songs, the places we went, and our discoveries we made together that I seem to remember most. Like bowling in my tux and you in your gown, after the senior ball.
As Terry Jack said, “We had joy, we had fun. We had seasons in the sun.”
It is with great sadness I say this last good bye to you, my first love.
I pray the comfort of God is upon John and your family.

I had the pleasure of knowing this beautiful soul. She had something about her that just stood out. She was kind and loving to all. She was real! There was never a question about who she was, she was what you saw... A beautiful lady inside and out. This is great loss not only to family and friends but to the world. It was a better place with her in it. Rest in peace.

A classmate, we attended HS at Lincoln in Tacoma. Thru the following years, we did not talk, until our 40th Reunion :-)
Since then ,we did see each other on occasion, sharing memories and other class times and get togethers. We last enjoyed a party at her place in University Place where my wife and I got to spent time talking and meeting her family :-)
Like all of us, when we heard news of her sickness, we prayed, and did what we could in support and blessings. Sadly, She lost her battle, but won that Special Peace that passes all our Understanding. And a reunion with family ,and other High School classmates who left us all too early.
May the God of Peace continue to hold Her family in his hands.
