Katherine A. Grass
Katherine passed away peacefully December 21, 2009. She was born February 10, 1918 to John and Stella Petkus in Wendell, PA. She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, and her husband Bill. She leaves behind her brother George (Marge) Petkus, Pitcairn, PA, sister-in-law Helen Petkus, and beloved sister-in-law Sally Wiggins, her loving children Thomas (Jerri) and Robert (Renae), grandchildren Brooke and Mike, four great-grandchildren, and many special nieces and nephews. Katherine was a 50-year-plus member of St John of the Wood Parish. She was a long standing member of YLI, and also belonged to a homemakers group. Other interests included bowling and gardening. Above all, her faith was an intergral part of her life. Katherine will long be remembered for the feasts prepared for family gatherings. She loved holidays, good food, and sharing. She was dearly loved and will be missed, but has left her family and friends with many treasured memories. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at 10:00am in the Mountain View Garden Chapel.
