She was born August 6th, 1928, in Lohr a Main Germany where she lived until she met and married the love of her life Reginald Kosarek on May 23, 1958. They moved to the States after Reginald's tour of duty was up for the US Army and the birth of their eldest daughter. They lived in several different states due to being an army family. They lived in California, Hawaii and Pennsylvania until they finally settled in Tacoma Washington in 1969 as Katharina felt it was most like her home town in Germany. They lived in the same house until the death of Reginald in 2009 when she moved to Spanaway. She worked hard all of her life to raise her children while holding a fulltime job. She was not selfish, and would do without to provide for her family. She was a military wife who packed up the house and moved us all without question. She loved her Bingo and the slots and was a big winner at B J'S several times throughout the years. They loved her there and called her Schatze!
