I miss Karola terribly. Her advice was always the best I ever received from any friend. She was a real German lady with charm, charisma, character, and class. I will miss her beautiful smile in the German coffee shop. It's just not the same any more without her, and the emptiness is very real and very painful. She always spoke of her husband with the deepest love and affection a wife can have, and we will grieve with him forever.##imported-begin##Baerbel Ward##imported-end##

Last few days we are thinking of you a lot. We are still cannot believe that your wife passed away. We would like to send our deepest condolences to you.
We cannot even describe how sad and emotional we were after learning about Mrs. Lang’s passing. Being far away from our own families weÂ’ve always seen our own mom in your wife. They are not too many people with the kindness she had in her heart. She was a very nice and generous person and she made everyone feel much better. We are grateful for the privilege of knowing her. We will miss her tremendously and she will stay in our memory forever.
We have known you both for a long time and we feel like you are part of our family.
