To the Severson Family,
Karl was such an amazing boy. My first encounter with him was when my family came to visit you in Seattle. We shared a bath in the kitchen sink. Little did I know I would get to know him during high school.
I had a great time getting to know Karl on our Aspen High School ExEd trip to Los Angeles last April. He was funny, polite, charming, engaging, and most of all, kindhearted. I remained friends with him after the trip, always referring to him as "Karl with a K". He always lit up with a smile in the school halls.
My greatest condolences to your family during this time. Karl will always remain in my heart and I can't believe this tragedy has happened.
With love,
Isabella, Graeme, Toni and Robert Courtenay-Morris
