Karl N. Westermark's Obituary
Karl passed away on October 9, 2005. He was 61. Karl was a retired firefighter for the City of Tacoma. He also served in the U.S. Navy and was a proud Vietnam War veteran.Karl is survived by his two children, Jill and Kevin Westermark; his two nephews, Eric and John Westermark; his granddaughter, Mariah Westermark; their families, and a host of friends and co-workers including his dear friend and caretaker, Â"Fisherman Bill.Â"Karl was an entertainer. He loved jokes and spending time with his friends and telling stories about his many prior adventures. He will be sorely missed by all those who knew him and were close to him.Karl spent a lot of time with his daughter, Jill, in the last few months, and she has memories to last a lifetime. He was able to stay in his home to the end, where he loved watching eagles soar and wildlife roam.At his request, there will be no services. We will honor him, miss him, and remember him. Rest in peace, Karl, and enjoy the lutefisk!! We love you Dad.There will be a gathering of family and friends at BarbÂ's Westgate Inn to be announced at a later date.
