Karilyn Jean Lowe's Obituary
Karilyn Jean Lowe, 84, passed away May 29, 2019 in Tacoma, Washington. Karilyn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, surrogate gramma and friend and will be greatly missed by many.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Friday, June 7, 2019 at Mountain View Memorial Park in the Garden Chapel. Arrangements are by Mountain View Funeral Home.
Karilyn was born to Bernice and Ervin Anderson on July 21, 1934 and grew up and went to school in Ayrshire, Iowa. She married James (Eddie) Lowe on September 11, 1953. Eddie was in the Air Force and they traveled all over the United States before retiring in Tacoma. Karilyn was always involved with churches at each different move and will be waiting for us all in heaven. She loved gardening with her husband and was an extraordinary baker.
Karilyn is preceded in death by son James, in infancy, granddaughter, Amanda, and 4 great grandchildren, Dante, Seville, Lillian Grace and Mateo.
Karilyn was a great dog lover and we can imagine her surrounded by them laughing and playing.
Left to cherish Karilyn’s memories are her loving husband of 65 years, Eddie, their six daughters, Denise Spring - husband Steve, Sheryl Manning - husband John, Kim Howard – husband Bobby, Lynda Lowe-Deringer, Laurie Newsham – husband Mike, and Jamie Ordonia, sisters, Gerri Neiber and Beverly Hatfield - husband Van, 17 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
