Karen Marie Nansel's Obituary
Karen Marie Nansel (Richards), 59 of Tacoma WA passed away peacefully on Monday July 3, 2017. Karen was born on September 13, 1957 in Philadelphia PA to her caring parents David and Donna (Williams) Richards of University Place WA.
Besides her parents, Karen is survived by her loving brother Michael (Krista) of Fox Island and her sister Teri Anderson of Bellevue. Also survived by her four nieces and nephews and two grand-nephews who she so cherished.
Karen was educated in Tacoma starting with the Crippled Children's School in Salishan, Seward Elementary, Truman Jr High and Wilson High School graduating in the class of 1975. She then continued her education at Eastern Washington University.
She lived and worked for many years in Seattle moving back to Tacoma as her health began to fail.
A remembrance to Karen's life will be held on Saturday July 15, 2017 at 2:00/PM at the Manitou Park Presbyterian Church, 6613 South Cheyenne St. Tacoma WA. Family and friends kindly invited.
