Karen L. Kist's Obituary
Karen Lorraine Kist passed peacefully on July 4, 2016 while she was surrounded by friends and family. She was born November 10, 1958 in Tacoma, Washington where she continued to grow up and graduate high school.
Karen would later raise her children down the street from her own childhood home. She filled those days playing in the yard, gardening and building memories with her family.
Once her children were grown, she started a new chapter in her life and moved to the mountains. She would soon settle in a home by the river where she spent countless hours playing in the water and collecting heart-shaped rocks.
Karen was an amazing mother, aunt and friend. She loved flowers, pretty rocks and anything that had to do with the water. Her laughter and smile were contagious and had the ability to brighten any room.
She is survived by her children Katy and Martin Dorr as well as her Buster.
Karen will be celebrated in Mineral, Washington on July 23, 2016 next to the lake.
