Kale Momi KainoaÂ"DJ KaleÂ"Our Beloved Kale was born Dec. 29, 1971in Honolulu, Hawaii to John and Dee Kainoa and passed away Oct. 14, 2006 at the age of 34 due to a motorcycle accident.Kale leaves behind to mourn his passing two children, Kimo Kale Kainoa, 14, KimoÂ's mom Melissa Brown, and Isabella Angelina Kainoa, 3, and her mom Andrea Gance.Kale is also survived by his mother Dee and brother John (wife Kim and their two children Cody, 19, and Kiara 11).Kale was preceded in death by his father John and his sister Val.All of KaleÂ's friends say he was the glue that held them together, always willing to help anyone and was a good, kind-hearted man who made friends easily wherever he went. He has many childhood friends as well as friends at his workplace. Kale was employed by Georgia-Pacific in LaceyTo all of those friends, the family would like to express our deepest thanks to all for the kindnesses shown during this sad and difficult time.Kale had many interests, including music (DJ Kale), sleeping, cars, fishing for bass, salmon and sturgeon, was a computer expert, and loved taking photos and videos, especially of his children whom he loved dearly and was the joy of his life. He loved us all and showed it and for that we are eternally grateful.Thank you, our precious Kale, for being the best loving son, father, brother, uncle and friend that anyone could ever hope to have. We all love you and will keep you in our hearts and thoughts forever.Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, Oct. 20, 2006 at Mountain View Funeral Home, Valley Chapel, with visitation from 3-9pm on Thursday, Oct. 19, 2006 at Mountain View. Burial at Old Tacoma Cemetery, South Tacoma Way and 48th, followed by a Â"tiggityÂ" pot luck reception at the Am Vets Club on Tyler and 56th at 3:00 pm.In lieu of flowers, donations to a memorial fund for his two children, Kimo and Isabella, may be made at any Washington Mutual Bank.Rest in Peace our beloved Kale, you left us too soon.
