I just learned about Justin’s passing. I am so sorry for your loss. I met Justin when he was detained at a mental health treatment facility. I worked with him three different times. I really liked him. Such a special soul. I know he was troubled but he was always happy to see me and treated me with respect. I hope he is at peace.
You were a good kid. I knew you many years ago. Life wasn’t fair to you. Much peace and love.
Justin, I remember the time in first grade when you and I were shadowing Mrs. Gapol's class to maybe skip ahead to 2nd. She was scary as heck and so I stayed back but you went anyway, making you always one grade ahead of me. Then I ended up with Mrs. Gapol anyway!
We went to one of the dances together, maybe prom? You showed up at my house and told me I was gorgeous. I felt so special that night and had such a great time with you. I'll miss your smile that I swear was accompanied by a sparkle in your eye. We will be missing the good times, Justin. With love, Andrea
