Justin Matthew Braegelmann's Obituary
Dear Justin was our son, brother, nephew and uncle. Justin was born July 13, 1973, and raised in Lakewood, WA. He graduated from Lakes High School in 1992. He continued his education at Pierce College with an AA Degree. Justin had a passion for music which led him to the Art Institute of Seattle where he graduated with a Sound Engineering Degree with honors. He loved his work at Pure Audio and the lifelong relationships he built there.
Justin found energy living in Seattle, the music scene, great restaurants (sushi) and the people there gave him joy. He was a gifted photographer, both digital and film. He enjoyed working in the kitchen fine tuning with herbs and spices and made some incredible homemade bread. also the go to IT guy for the entire family and countless friends. This gift for technology found him some of his most cherished friendships.
He shared that he remembers the smell of grass as when he mowed his grandmother's grass as a youngster, also the freedom of birds in flight. He also was always down for a "delicious" meal of Dungeness Crab & Lobster. Most importantly Justin found comfort in the lifelong friends that have always been there to support him. His phone calls and coffee chats with them brought him an incredible amount of comfort and belonging.
Justin is survived by his father Mark Braegelmann, step-mother Viv Braegelmann, Mother Jan Warren, stepfather EJ Warren, brother and sister-in-law Mark and Shannon, Niece McKenna, Nephew Tommy and countless family and friends.
Justin may your gentle soul rest in Peace and Love, our lives are better for you being in it.
