Jung S Barnett's Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jung Sook Barnett, age 89, on July 24, 2025 in Lakewood, WA. Jung was born in Seoul, Korea on July 13, 1936 to parent Sung Gun Chin and Bohon Kim. She married her husband, Harry Ray Barnett on September 8, 1961, and remained in their loving marriage until Mr. Barnett's passing in October, 2007. Her primary career was as a factory worker in food production, however in her free time she enjoyed gardening. She was particularly talented in the art of making bonsai trees in her garden, training and trimming branches to look just right. Jung is survived by her two sons, Harold (Denise), and Robert (Michaela). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Rickie Raye Barnett and Cody James Barnett.
Jung Barnett will be laid to rest at Mountain View Funeral Home on August 18th, 2025 at 1:30pm.
