June Christina Rolland RedfordJune Christina Rolland Redford, born April 19, 1924 in Tacoma, Washington passed over to join Christ and her beloved husband, Kenneth on November 18, 2004 at 1:45 PM. The cause was respiratory failure following a massive stroke. Her Pastor and family joined her at her bedside, singing her favorite hymns as she made the transition from this world into the loving arms of God our Father. She married Kenneth Ivan Redford April 25, 1942. They are both greatly missed by their family: Donald Kenneth Redford and wife, Linda, of Buckley. Darrel Keith Redford and wife, Martha and Gail Irene Rocheleau and husband, William, all of Tacoma. Ten grandchildren, Anna Clark (Troy), Tina Redford, Steven (Taneka) Redford, Penny (Chad) Roberts, Paul Redford, Kenny (Kandy) Redford, Chris (Jim) Anderson, Donnie Ray (April) McMillan Jr., Jennifer McMillan and Debbie McMillan. Also feeling a hole in their lives are her fifteen great-grandchildren, Melissa, Jessica, Ryan, Erin, Brice, Brittanie, Andrew, Allyson, Jesse, Joey, Jacob, Sarah, Jordyn, Brandi, and Matthew. Also surviving is her last sister, Bonnie J. Nadeau, of Tacoma. She retired from Brown and Haley Candy Company where she was a candy maker for 23 years. She hand dipped those famous Mountain Bars. She was a member of Mason United Methodist Church, having transferred there from Trinity United Methodist Church a year ago. She was an avid Seattle Mariner Baseball fan.Even though her health had been failing, she kept active, going to as many family functions as possible. She was known as Grandma June to everyone, young and old alike. A viewing will be held on TODAY and Monday, November 22, 2004 from 10AM Â- 9PM at Mt. View Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held in the Mt. View Valley Chapel on Tuesday, November 23, 2004 at 1:00PM. The Reverend Joe Miller officiating.
