Julius Joseph Schatz's Obituary
Julius J. Schatz "Schatzie" Born April 1936 in Ballston, Oregon, left us on June 30, 2009. He was raised in So. Tacoma, went to Visitation School and graduated from Bellarmine; joined the Army serving in Germany and England. He went to work for the Fire Dept., Jake Keller Roofing, Mar-Jon Contractors, and retired from the Tacoma School District. He was a life member of the V.F.W. and member of Laborers' Local 252.
He leaves behind his wife Arlene, and his closest family: sisters, Betty and Clara; step-daughter, Lorain; grandson Jarrit; brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Ann Wayne; also extended family: 7 children, 7 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be Wed., 7/8, from 11am-9pm at Mountain View Funeral Home. Services Thurs., 2pm in the Garden Chapel at Mt. View. TILL WE MEET AGAIN ALOHA! Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home. 253-584-0252
