Julie Eggimann
Our daughter, sister, and granddaughter, Julie Ann Eggimann, passed away on August 15, 2012, after a brief illness. Julie is survived by her mother, Helen L. Eggimann; siblings Scott, Marie, and Carrie (husband Rick); grandmother, Ella Jay Eggimann; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Julie was predeceased by her father, Ronald F. Eggimann.
Julie graduated from Foss High School in 1980/1981 and attended Ft. Steilacoom Community College. Her interests/hobbies included painting, swimming, and spending time on the computer. She had a deep affection for animals, especially cats, dogs and dolphins.
Julie was born with cerebral palsy. Life was far from easy for her; however, she had a true zest for life. She had many special friends and caregivers over the years. Julie Weaver Mattern was with Julie as a caregiver for twelve years and remained a lifelong friend. Julie also had a close friendship with Joyce and Colin Ehli.
Julie attended Sunset Bible Church and was thrilled to become a member of the church on the Sunday preceding her death. Julie had a strong, unwavering faith in God and those who survive her take a great comfort in that knowledge.
A celebration of Julie's life will be held on Sunday, August 26th at 3:00 PM at Olympic View Baptist Church, 4707 Elwood Dr., University Place; pastor Jay Mosser officiating.
