Julianne Denise Butler's Obituary
Julie Butler, 81, of Tacoma, went peacefully to be with the Lord on April 4, 2017. Born September 27, 1935 in San Francisco, CA, Julie lived in Tacoma for 34 years. She worked as an accountant, a grant-writer for a women's shelter, and directed a women’s shelter for ladies transitioning from incarceration. Julie is survived by her five children, nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. We miss her love for people and her trust in the Lord during challenging circumstances. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, April 22 at 11:00 a.m. at Abundant Life Church, 5219 111th St. SW, Lakewood.
