Judy Lynne Wilkins' Obituary
On June 5, 2020, Judy transitioned from this life to heaven. She fought the good fight of faith and finished her race. She was born on the Skokomish Indian Reservation in Shelton Washington, but grew up in Tacoma. Attending Gault Junior High, and Lincoln High School, she played the flute in high school and was a member of the marching band. She started work right out of high school in 1968 retiring in 2010 as a Library Associate for the Tacoma Public Library. Judy married her husband Jerry in 1971 and they had two children. Judy was a loving and beautiful person who was a patient caregiver for her husband for the last 39 years of his life. She was in the second bout of breast cancer when events changed and was called home to be with our Lord. Judy was preceded by her father Vernon, mother Mabel, sister Irene, brother Dan Washington and husband Jerry Wilkins. She leaves behind her daughters LaVonne and Jamie Wilkins, special daughter Jacquie Doss, along with her brothers, Frank (Francine) and Vernon Roger Washington, Jr. (Lola), and sisters Roslynne (David) Reed and Stella (Max) Fields, along with a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends.
