In Loving Memory of Judy Ann Roberts Warren
Judy Ann Roberts Warren, a cherished mother, wife, and friend, passed away on June 2, 2024, in Gig Harbor, WA, at the age of 77. Born on December 21, 1946, to Anne Rose Marie Braten Roberts and Thomas (Tom) Roberts in Tacoma, Washington, Judy was the youngest sibling to Claralene and Curtis. A 1965 graduate of Mt Tahoma High School, she began her career at Weyerhauser as a secretary.
Judy’s life was enriched by her marriage to Clifton (Cliff) P Warren on May 11, 1968. The couple welcomed their daughters Cynthia Marie and Deborah Anne into the world and built a loving home in Olalla. Judy’s passion for reading, sewing, crochet, knitting, gardening, ceramics, and oil painting filled her home with warmth and creativity. She shared her love for adventure with her family through numerous road trips and camping excursions.
Her pursuit of education led her to Tacoma Community College, where she earned an AA in accounting in 1991, subsequently rejoining the workforce at Greymont Western US Tacoma. Judy faced life’s challenges with resilience, supporting her husband through his cancer diagnosis in 1995 and enduring his loss in 1999.
Judy’s legacy is carried on by her brother Curtis (Betty) Roberts of Joshua, Texas, her daughter Cindy (Bud) of Belfair, and her five grandchildren: Raymond, Deanna, Emma, Zachary, and Darian, along with many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Mountain View Funeral Home will be arranging the services to honor Judy’s memory at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, a cause close to Judy’s heart.
Judy’s life was a tapestry of love, dedication, and kindness, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
