Celebrating the Life of Judy Marie Robbins
Born on January 26, 1943 in Tacoma WA where she lived until she joined her husband in heaven. Her parents were Kenneth and Clara Johnson. She was the 1st of 3 children. She attended Lincoln High School. After graduation she married her childhood sweetheart and began a family. Judy was involved in volunteering at the Salvation Army, and helping friends and family in need. She lived in Tacoma, WA. She married jack Robbins on November 3, 1963.
Judy gave her life to Christ in the 70's and attended Baptist church for several years. Her family finds comfort in knowing she will spend eternity with the lord and Savior and husband.
Her special friends were; Frances – her beloved companion, and "Chewy".
She was involved in salvation army and the Senior Center where she volunteered to pick up donations for food bank and delivering it to the pantries.
Her most important events were the birth of her grandchildren and great grandchildren
Judy was caring, compassionate, listener, comforter and had a great sense of humor.
Her favorite hobbies included bingo, card games, spending endless hours with her family, ceramics and gardening. Her favorite music was Country.
Judy was always a great listener. She was able to make the worst situation better. Loved all of her family; children, grands-greats nieces and nephews, and all her family friends. She was loved by many, touched, many lives, made dark days bright. Always a kind word to say. You could seek her out day or night for a listening ear. Judy would always make things better. She always saw the good in others.
Judy loved gardening for hours – taking pride and care in her gardening skills growing beautiful flowers and having a landscaped yard. Her favorite flower was pansies.
She spent her last 4 years at Charlton Place Assisted Living, where she touched many lives, had many friends, and was loved by all. Her husband passed away 2 years before her. She lived there until her passing. Her special friend at the dinner table was Frances; she brought her coffee every morning without fail. Kind! We were told by the residents and staff alike of how sweet, caring, funny, and loved Mom was. She will be deeply missed
She is survived by her daughters; Kimberly Kirkman, Kari Berry, sons; Kenneth Robbins, Jack Robbins Jr., Patrick Robbins, and James Robbins.
