Judith E. Braswell's Obituary
Judith Eileen Braswell was born on October 8th, 1943 and was the first born of four to Al and Betty Houston.
Mom was a Christian and attended church regularly since she was a young child and it was important to her to raise her children in church as well. In addition to various church involvements, some of her favorite activities included gardening, dancing to her favorite music and teaching her grands and greats how to sew, crochet, cook, garden and numerous craft projects.
Above all else, time spent with her family was most important to her and included gatherings at her house to celebrate birthdays and holidays, trips to the beach and summer outdoor concerts to name a few of her favorites. She was always looking forward to the next family event and appreciated them all. Even in her last days she repeatedly stated, “I’m so lucky.”
She is survived by her three daughters, Jamie Johnson (Robert), Kimberly Braswell and Christine Braswell as well as her 5 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren with #18 on the way.
Mom requested attendees to her services wear colorful attire in celebration of her life.
