Juanita R. Foster's Obituary
Juanita R. Foster was born on June 22, 1922 in Livingston, Montana and passed away on February 16, 2006 in Gig Harbor, Washington. She married Frank Foster in 1943 and moved to WA State in 1944. She was preceded in death by her son, David and is survived by husband Frank, daughter Nancy (David) DeChant, son Carl, and daughter Diana. Grandchildren: Larry (Tina) DeChant, Danielle (Craig) Milton, Ann (Peter) Bruennig, Meresa (Ben) DeMaio, Karli Foster, Haley Foster, Keith Hoffman, and Tauni (Klaus) Aul. Great Grandchildren: Kailee and Cassandra DeChant, Kaila DeMaio, Carissa Milton, Justin Bruennig, and Connor Aul. Juanita was the most kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother faithfully attending school functions, sporting events, and 4-H activities. Along with raising her four children, Juanita worked as a secretary. After her retirement, she volunteered her time for Senior Citizens Against Crime. She loved reading, beachcombing, traveling, and shopping. The family extends sincere thanks to friends and staff of Shoreline View for their care and kindness shown to Juanita during the past five years, as well as Cottesmore for the past month. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, February 24, 2006 at First Christian Church, 602 N. Orchard Street, Tacoma. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Christian Church.
