Sorry for this late entry.(computer difficulty). I remember Nita as a person who always strive for continuous improvement. She and I are both in the TOASTMASTERS Int'l at CG Island. She told me that Vito, her husband, is excellent at giving speeches and writing letters. At the speeches, Nita always talked about her husband, and her family. At one of the meetings, the topic was: What would you you like said about you at your Eulogy? Nita's answer: I want to be remembered as helping my family in all ways possible. Nita has been a wonderful friend. She has helped not only her family, but her many friends. I will miss her positive attitude. She has enriched my life.##imported-begin##Amy Estrada##imported-end##
Nita was a very special person with so much energy and a zest for life. I went to the gym with her on CG Island. She will be solely missed. God bless the family.##imported-begin##Liz Moore##imported-end##
I share your sorrow and I will keep the Family in Prayer. (I worked with Nita at the U.S. Coast Guard in Alameda, CA)##imported-begin##Jocelyn Brox-Chester##imported-end##
Nita was a very special friend who was always concerned for everyone. We worked together on Humanities Week Projects at the Oakland Army Base and worked in the same Bldg at Coast Guard Island. We worked out at the CG gym during lunch. I will cherish all the wonderful memories we shared together.##imported-begin##Janice McDonald##imported-end##

We have not seen you Nita and Vito,
since you left Tacoma, but you are always in our prayers.
With our sympathy.##imported-begin##Joe & Goody Calugas##imported-end##
This is a very nice option for those of us out of the area. Amy Estrada, a former co-worker also, let me know about the website and I wish I had known about it Saturday when I sent out an e-mail to everyone I knew that knew Nita. It's nice to be able to read the bio and see the nice pictures and think of her. Once again I wish we could be there. She is smiling on all of us now. Dear Vito and Family,
I will always remember Nita's smile and positive outlook on everything. She was always the first to volunteer for whatever was needed at work. With her passing the world has lost a beautiful spirit. My Deepest Sympathy to All,
