Juana I Freeman's Obituary
Juana (Nina) was born on November 28th, 1924 in Colon, Republic of Panama to Nabanco and Rita Iza.
Nina was a much-loved mother, wife, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be missed beyond words. Nina’s devotion, strength and love for family will be forever in our hearts.
As a military wife Nina traveled around the world from Germany to Washington. Nina belong to American G.I. Forum, Centro Latino, Sacred Heart Parishioner, Lighthouse Senior Center and modeled hair and clothes for several Beauty schools in Germany and in Washington State.
Nina held multiple positions (Employment Security & Support Enforcement) with the State of Washington including certified interpreter. Nina retired after 25 years of service.
Juana I Freeman, 92, passed away on Tuesday, August 15th 2017 in Fort Lewis, WA.
Nina is survived by her loving daughter Brenda; grandchildren, Juan (Renee,) Maritza (Mary), Carlos (Zhana), Jaime (Christina), great-grandchildren, Felicia, Alexis, McKenna, Kyli, Rhiannon, Samuel and Darrion. She was preceded in death by her Father Nabanco, Mother Rita, brother Carlos R. Dupree, son-in-law, Andrew L. Smith and great-granddaughter Morgan K. Martin
We would like to thank Kindred Care visiting nurses and Madigan Army Medical Clinics.
The Rosary will take place at 10:30 am followed by Funeral services at 11:00 am, Officiated by FR. Patrick McDermott Thursday, August 24th 2017 at Mountain View Funeral Home Garden Chapel.
