Joyce Faye Minshall's Obituary
Joyce Minshall, a beloved mother, friend, and passionate Seahawks fan, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on February 1, 1946, in Tacoma, Washington, Joyce lived a life filled with joy, adventure, and an infectious spirit that touched everyone she met.
Joyce was known for her vibrant personality and her ability to light up any room with her radiant smile and hearty laughter. She had a zest for life that was evident in her many passions, including her unwavering support for the Seattle Seahawks. Whether cheering from the stands or gathering with friends and family to watch the game, Joyce's enthusiasm for football was a testament to her love for community and connection.
Traveling was another of Joyce's great loves. She cherished the memories made while exploring numerous countries with her children, Vicki Spracklin and Bill Girnau. From sun-soaked cruises to Mexico and Hawaii to spontaneous road trips, Joyce embraced every opportunity to create lasting memories with her family. Her adventurous spirit inspired those around her to seek out new experiences and cherish the moments spent together.
Joyce's legacy is one of love, laughter, and the importance of family. She leaves behind her two children, Vicki (Doane) and Bill (Cheri), who carry forward her spirit and values. She also leaves behind four grandchildren: Aaron, Laura, Kelly, and Kaylee; and seven great-grandchildren: Mayson, Irah, Olivia, Parker, Rowan, Greyson, and Everly. Her warmth and kindness will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A celebration of Joyce's life information is posted under the "events tab", where family and friends will gather to share stories, laughter, and the love that she so generously gave to others. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Joyce's honor, reflecting her generous heart and commitment to making the world a better place.
Joyce Minshall will forever be remembered for her vibrant spirit, her love for her family, and the joy she brought into the lives of those around her. May her memory be a blessing to all who knew her.
