Joyce Harrington's Obituary
Joyce Harrington was born March 13, 1935 in Ione, WA.
She moved to Longview, WA in 1937. She married Gordon Harrington in Lewiston, ID in 1952, and moved to Tacoma, WA in 1960.
Joyce became a member of the Tacoma Women's Bowling Association in 1965. She served as Association Treasurer for 17 years, and Association President for four years. She was elected to the TWBA Hall of Fame in 1990, and became a lifetime member of the TWBA in 1999. Joyce served as the secretary/treasurer of the Satellites bowling league at Tower Lanes for 30+ years.
She served as assistant secretary to the Greater Tacoma Bowling Association for 10 years. Later she was hired as league data clerk for Tower Lanes and worked there until the time of her death.
She is predeceased by her husband, Gordon; son, Michael; and father, Willis Faught; sister, Gwen Wakolee; and mother, Helen Price. She is survived by Sam Faught of Arizona, and Tom Faught of Idaho, and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
