Joyce D. Lawson
April 1, 1935 - August 31, 2008
Joyce was born in Seattle, WA and was the daughter of the late Harley and Esther Thayer. She grew up in Tacoma and graduated from Clover Park High School in 1953. Soon after she married Joe Lawson and lived in MIdland for 55 years. Joyce loved to ride her horse in the mountain trails and was a wonderful cook, gardener and an accomplished photographer. She was the most forgiving person in the world and never had a bad word to say about anyone. She leaves behind her husband Joe Lawson and two sons, Mike Lawson and Tim Lawson of Tacoma. Memorial service on September 6, 2008 - 12:00 p.m. in the Valley Chapel at Mountain View Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity.
