We were so very sorry to hear about Joyce. I have many fond memories of her, dating back to the Truman school years - Marilee and our son, Doug, were in the same class; plus having her help me pick out the "right" clothes at Rhodes,and also our years in Shari Lee Thomas Orthopedic Guild. She was a wonderful caring person, always cheerful and alot of fun. She certainly will be missed by everyone that knew her. We send our

I grew up knowing this inspirational woman as "Auntie Joyce." I enjoyed seeing her year after year at the Singing Christmas Tree (Life Center Church) and at Christmas parties afterward. I consider Joyce a hero, always laughing and smiling through it all. Though we try to prepare, we are never prepared enough. Sometimes there are not enough "right" words. Grief is difficult.
Joyce and Dale were friends of my parents, Dick (Anna Mae-deceased) Wight and I have fond memories of Joyce and Dale. Always a couple and she always smiling, gracious, full of life and heart. We are all blessed to have known her. May God comfort you at this time.

You are in my prayers for comfort at this time. I worked with Joyce at Peoples' Store in dresses and always admired her positive attitude and bright smile. She always asked about Ralph, my husband, who also worked at Peoples as well.(he passed away Oct 2003) I also attend Life Center and have been looking for Dale and Joyce, as they always sat in the section as I do. I will miss her smiling face. Please let me know when the Celebration Service is.
