Joy T. Erspamer (Gauthier)Joy passed away Sunday morning February 10, 2008. She went to be with the angels who were waiting for her. She had a long struggle with Polymyalgia Rheumatica. She was 82 years old.Joy was born on October 23, 1925 in Tacoma, WA. She graduated from St. Patrick's School and Stadium High School. She worked most of her life, and retired from Wells Fargo in the Investment Dept. She and her husband, Walt, were married for 45 years. Joy enjoyed cooking, sewing, knitting, crafting, and gardening. She loved to decorate her home. Walt and Joy were a part of a small circle of close friends. They traveled and played together throughout their married lives. One by one they move on and will join together again. Joy's dedication in life to her husband was unsurpassed. She made his care her primary focus during his last years. We loved her for this; and for showing us how to care for each other. She is survived by her step-son Richard Erspamer (Sharon), former daughter-in-law Judy Erspamer, grandson Marc Erspamer (Cheri), and 2 great grandsons, Austin and Logan, all of Vancouver, WA.
