Joshua William Prendergast's Obituary
Joshua William Prendergast
October 5, 1973 - August 21, 2009
Our beautiful Joshua went home to Jesus, and his Lord replied, "Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your Master's happiness!" (Matthew 25:21) We had the miracle of Joshua in our lives for 35 years, and we are eternally grateful. He was a kind, tender-hearted, gentle, generous, mighty man of God. Protective and loyal, Joshua was the caretaker of many hearts - above all his precious daughter Gracie, who was truly the apple of her daddy's eye. He was the "BEST DADDY EVER," and his extravagant love for his Gracie has given us a profound example of our Father's heart for all His children. Joshua is also survived by his parents Bill and Linda Prendergast, his sister Joy Lin, and preceded by his grandparents Bill and Virginia Tichy and Bill and Emma Prendergast. In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial donation in Joshua's name to the American Diabetes Association at www.diabetes.org . "Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." (Isaiah 40: 30-31)
